Ballet Contrast Project

My goal was to show what extreme strength and physical abilities are necessary to show ballet elegant, airy and easy-going on stage. Having spent some time with dancers, I was also amazed by the fact that they are actually like super-athletes - with the upmost level of artistry in all their moves, instead of being robust. *Model / Dancer: Jessica Carulla Leon* (Hungarian National Ballet)

The Grace and the Strength

This is how athletic you need to be to dance with that ease and elegance. When the same moves are presented on podium artistically, or shown with all muscles and strength of the body... it becomes clearly visible.
